Welcoming 2022, One Kickoff at a Time

While 2021 might be coming to a close, it’s not just pumpkin lattes and cosy fires our team has been excited about. At Nosto, an extra something pricks our ears this time of year—our annual, company-wide kickoffs, *excitedly squeals*.

We are big believers in getting everyone together around the turn of a new year, to reflect, celebrate, and get motivated. You might recall our company-wide offsite in Barcelona in 2020—word on the street is that we have something similar planned for Q1 next year, and with the team growth we’re experiencing globally, we’re itching to meet all of our new colleagues!

But before then, it’s regional kickoff time for our 3 teams: UK/Nordics, North America, and international. While team international prepares for their kickoff on December 2 (we will return with an update on this one), let’s have a nosy at what went down as team North America gathered in New York, and team UK/Nordics grouped in London.

Of course, what’s an NA commercial kickoff without a tug-of-war?

The off-site brought us together and gave us all a real buzz, seeing what exciting times are ahead for Nosto. Oh, and did I mention my team won the mini olympics?

Over in London, they also made time for a community day at Heath Hands—laptops closed, rakes at the ready!

This was the first opportunity since merging as a team earlier in the year for our Nordics and UK people to be together in person. It was great of Nosto to let us take a day out, solely dedicated to team-bonding whilst also giving back to our local community.

I never thought I’d be clearing weeds or building bamboo arches in my first week! Though I’m really grateful for the team-time. I worked with Nosto’s marketing team through my previous job and suspected it would be a good bunch here. But the warmth, energy, and friendliness everyone gave at kickoff is more than I could’ve hoped for. It’s made me so excited to be working amongst such a wonderful group of people.
